One of the greatest parts to living in south Florida is our ability to grow so much tortoise food.
I have pounds and pounds of ripe bananas from one plant. Luckily they freeze pretty well.

Lucky torts.

Do yard bananas taste like store bananas? I've noticed a lot of differences in apples around here from the orchard and the store.

There are many great varieties that will grow here. All taste better than grocery store bananas.

How often do you feed bananas? Here in South Texas they are abundant. I also feed guava and papaya.

It's the same as store bought tomatoes versus home grown freshly picked. They are worlds apart.
