Those beetles might be O.K. if they are chopped up. How big is your Redfoot and why are there mealworms in it's enclosure?
The mealworm beetles are pretty hard and probably not the best food for most animals.

Ok. They are left over ones he didn't eat. He is very small fits right in the palm of my hand.

Meal worms are 100% unnecessary.
So if the beetles are of any concern, don't use them.
I never have. I'm also not aware of anyone that has for Redfoot.

Just to expand a little on Zero's answer, mealworms have an indigestible outer exoskeleton. An occasional mealworm would be ok, as a treat, but I wouldn't use them on a regular basis.

Hopefully you don't have mealworms loose in your babies cage.

Darkling beetles have some unpleasant chemical in them which deters turtles from eating many at a time. Other than that i would guess they are about as good or bad as the average beetle.

They are also reputed to be garden pests, so don't release outside.

Can you tell us a bit about your redfoot's diet? There shouldn't be loose meal worms in the cage. I would clean it out and remove all of the worms and the beetles.

What about "Super worms" ? I feed Artemis those things every once in a while...are they bad for her?

As a treat they are fine. They shouldn't be running free in the cage though.
