My tortoises all have access to it in their enclosure as I use it for decoration and as a sight barrier. They occasionally will take a nibble, and when they haven't made a bowel movement in a few days I will offer it with their food as it has a laxative effect. I wouldn't feed it purposely very often, just so their digestive tract does not get messed up, but yes it is fine to give them and for them to have access to. I'm not sure on the jade plant though. There are links on the forum for guides to what to offer and feed often/in moderation/ect.

I have two types of aloe. My torts eat both and so far so good. I feed some jade plant once in a while, and that seems to suit them just fine as well.
