Here is wallie after several years! I like to go get a 2 stringer of alfalfa hay. Wallie can eat from the blocks I break off, but I also spend quite a bit of time separating out all the really tough straw that comes with it. She'll graze on this as well as the clover on the other side of the fence. I have bermuda grass growing in a patch just over the little wooden fence. Sometimes I'll use the separated alfalfa to make a nice mash that still has plenty of long grain fiber. Sometimes she gets a bag of spring mix or a bell pepper n_n. Yum!
