My husband and I adopted one after seeing this news story! We asked for one who would be less likely to be adopted - and so we got Jordie. (Jordie the Tortie) :D He is missing a back leg and is about 20-30 years old. He's our first tortoise - I am so in love!!!:<3: :tort::<3:

Good for you, Amanda! I also like the underdog. I have several chewed turtles and tortoises, some with missing limbs.
