    New enclosure- opinions

I have 4 digital sensors which are placed around the enclosure and appear to be relatively close to each other in terms of their readings so I think it will be fine

    New enclosure- opinions

So over the recent weekend I moved my 18 month old ish RF into his new 5ft x 3ft enclosure. It's a Pro-plast plastic vivarium from pro-vivs here in the UK. Seems to be holding temp and humidity with ease, 27 - 29 degrees Celsius, 80 - 85% humidity. I have done some landscaping, he / she seems...

    Alternatives to cable clips/ screws

Hello. Just planning a new enclosure for my red foot. I have gone with a 5x3ft plastic vivarium from Pro-Vivs. I really don't want to use screws or cable clips for lights etc. inside the enclosure as this would break the seal and let moisture in. Can anyone recommend any alternatives?

    New enclosure ideas

I appreciate your reply but with a Red foot needing high humidity then I want something that is going to last a good few years so it would need to be fully sealed

    Advice on general redfoot care

So you paint all the interior and put pond liner in? Is there a clear colour version of the paint?

    Advice on general redfoot care

Could you not just use pond liner? If you do use the paint then do you paint all the inside or just to the level of the substrate?

    Advice on general redfoot care

Hi Jane, I too am in the UK, Manchester to be precise. I just wanted to share my experiences with you from last year. Like you after doing lots of research and buying the setup, I took what I was told was a healthy 6 month old "cherry head" from a reptile pet shop not too far from me. At first...

    Advice needed (Disinfection)

Appreciate the responses. The product I used is specific for reptiles distributed here in the UK by Habistat. I followed the instructions very carefully and ensured the viv was fully rinsed with water and dried before he went back in. I have also changed his substrate. The question is about...

    Advice needed (Swollen neck)

His buddy is another cherry that we got at the same time. They are the same age and I haven't seen any signs of fighting. I will be getting him to the vet but here in the Manchester uk, there aren't that many around so was just asking for thoughts but will be taking him to the vets.

    Advice needed (Swollen neck)

Our cherry head has a swollen neck and as you can see from the picture we think he has cut himself. We also noticed yesterday he was struggling to open one of his eyes but it seems ok today. Him and his buddy are in a 3ft vivarium with coconut fibre / bark substrate, with moss as a bedding...
