We go through a decent volume of hay at the barn. I often find clear plastic wrappers in the timothy. We buy from several people and it seems to be a fact of life anymore.
I wish I could grow spider plants outside here, I have bunches of them in my indoor enclosures that thrive. A mulberrytree is next on my list since I know they can handle Oregon

Greeting from the Willamette Valley. I've planted my tortoise yard with lots of hibiscus, hostas, and I leave tall bunches of grass that I can spray down that the reds love to hide under.
Fence it off when you move it, my big boy knocked over 3 plants (2 RoS and a Banana Tree) and ate them to the root ball. Now I start them in planters for a year or two first.

Good advice so far, wet foods with the normal foods. Lots of soaks, lots of heat.
I had a redfoot eat an entire plastic bag (the thin film type veggies come in) and it took 11 days to pass.
My iguana once ate a (small stringy) pair of underwear and passed that...with assistance.
