Thank you! That was the plan to run it and adjust. We will have a hinged top consisting of 3 plexiglass panels. There will still be an overlap but it just doesn't seem like much air will be moving.

It will not be sealed. We are attaching a hinged lid. Certainly won't be air tight. Thanks!

Please accept my apologizes if this has been posted elsewhere, but what (if anything) do you do for air circulation in a closed table? We built a table and are building a plexiglass lid. Do we need to drill holes? This is for a young cherry head red foot. I've read conflicting information. Thanks!

Does anyone have experience using spar urethane sealant? I've seen many tortoise builds that say it is safe and works well.

We aren't quite finished yet obviously. :) This is the general idea, we need to complete the walls among various other steps as well.

Hi everyone. My family is making preparations to welcome a red footed tortoise into our family. We've built a table for him/her but I would love to see how you've configured your covered enclosures incorporating lighting. We'd prefer a flat cover and not any type of draping but Id love to see...
