My sulcatas Marlin and Vern are getting a new enclosure, they are currently in something about 10x8' and a 2'x3' house. Their new enclosure is roughly 20'x22' and their new house is gonna be around 4x7'. Here are pictures of the demo of the old tin shed that was in the way. Here is their old...
Friends of mine have 3 Galops, 3 aldabras, and probably 5-7 full grown sulcatas in the same enclosure, that is actually not that big. Scientifically They probably shouldn't be together but they are all captive bred and do suprisingly well together. I dont know if Im against it because I...
In a previous listing he said he didn't want anything for them just a good home.
I might shoot him an email and be a last resort or maybe a foster home if need be. Really hard to see such a good looking pair go.
I saw these on Craigslist the other day and the owner seems to be getting desperate to find a home for his Sulcatas. I would but am currently in the process of adopting a 65lb sulcata and am having to retrofit my yard to house him.

thanks for all the feedback, the last two morning they have been getting a mix of weeds from the garden, dandelion, clovers, and some others that looked smilar to the dandelion leaves.
I did have another question though. whey you guys say clover are you talking about sourgrass? Here in Cali...
I have 2 sulcatas, 9 monthes and 6 monthes. Up to this point most of their diet has been romain with some vegies a few times a week and tortoise bites which i think are cactus pare? I know i need to get them on a better diet.
Looking to plant some seed to help get them on that better diet...
I do apologize if this has been answered here before, but I'm new to the forum, and haven't run across the answer yet. I have my Greek in crushed walnut shells. She's had this substrate for about 4 months or so. It really seems to be working out good for her. Does anyone have any experience with...
Doesnt look like anyone answered this one,
Im pretty sure out of the torts in that list that sulcatas get the biggest, average is in the 20" range and close to 100 lbs.(correct me if im wrong) I have 2 of them and they are my first torts, i got them both as hatchlings and am enjoying watching...
They must all grow at different rates. I have two Sulcatas, one is 9 months old and 4 1/2 inches, the other is about 5 months old and 2 3/4 inches. The little one doesn't seem to be growing as fast as the oldest did, but they are both eating.
New to this whole tortoise thing, i have 2 sulcatas 1 is 9 monthes old and the other is 6 months, and my gf has a 4 year old greek. I was fully aware of how big my sulcatas will get, and I cant wait.
Here is a picture of all 3 about 4 monthes ago.
