Don't midlands have more of a reddish coloring to them. I know it's kind of hard to see in my picture, but he is really orange, more like yours. Maybe I'll try to take better pictures. He's so squirmy.

I use this for my lighting. Also after I hang my light I use twist ties to secure it even more. I then tape the cord to the stand.
