Feeding my big boy some cactus. Love him

Ya. Never weighed him any guesses? He is like a lap dog. If I rub his chin he will lay on my lap

Just completed a big move with my boy

Ya he's fine has a huge space and there is a gate so he can come in to the other part. He's different has never attempted to dig at all in 15 years. Very easy going guy. If it becomes a problem I will address it but so far so good.

Just completed a big move with my boy

So we lived in the country for the last 15 years and had to relocate so my son can chase his baseball dreams and I was worried about Jessy because it's an HOA community. We got very lucky and all our neighbors love him and he's all settled in. Just finished his new house minus the paint but I'll...

Looking to adopt an older sulcata in the Sarasota Fl area

I know this was a long time ago but I have a huge male about 14 years old raised by my family since he was a baby. He's perfect friendly and never burrows. We are in Elgin South Carolina and we are moving at the end of August so my son can chase his baseball dreams. If interested let me know and...

    14 year old male sulcata

Never heard anything from this forum. Had interest but nothing id consider from other sources. Most likely coming with us. I can't put him in a spot where there is a chance of him not being loved.

    14 year old male sulcata

Not sure what I'll end up doing but I figured I'd post this just in case. We are moving to a subdivision so my son can chase his baseball dreams and the only neighborhoods all have HOA rules in place. We currently live on three acres. Jesse is perfect and very friendly he's always been a family...

    Jessie's first snow day. ?

Well South Carolina got 3 in of snow today or at least some parts. Jessie has been out all day eating snow. He's being very frisky all day just like a kid having fun. He is really enjoying it, goes back in to warm up and then immediately back out playing in the snow.

The best way to get your tortoise to eat hay

So I use a 15 oz bag and I soak it in warm water then I drain and let it sit. The aroma really starts to kick in and my big boy comes running. Of course it's cheaper to buy in bulk but I don't care this plus some spring mix and mazzurri and of course weeds is how Jessie got so big and strong. I...
