I hear you! Good on you for growing your own stuff. I'm trying to grow all my veggies, too. Store-bought can be quite scary.Jackfruit an a few other fruits are also on the list as snack , will snap a picture dining on each type as those fruits become available ( still on tree not ripen yet )
I grow most if not all of my greens and fruits for my human family and the shelled family - don't trust store bought stuff !!

I see the last pictures and LOL. Never thought they like durian as many people hate the smell.
The orange color ones look good. They usually cost more here. Ahh, it's not the durian season here yet, but we have plenty of mango at the moment.Durian have to be from a known good graft to be heavenly not just any ripe durian !!
They have pedigree as well - D 197 , D 24 , D 164 , D 101 .....

As snack only for the dry sp , but the tropical forest sp like footed , emys , Indotestudo and hingeback ........ are fed more often . For durian they are seasonal fruit having at most 3 crop per year and one should worry more of its sugar content .Do update on the taste of the red ones. Btw you feed it to the torts, won't it be too much protein?
That's a nice plantation you have there.
Durian, rambutan and jackfruit! With 500 fruits a day on average, can be sold for quite a lot of bucks lol
