I don't really know how much to feed them, so I give 1 ReptoMin baby mini sticks in the morning and 1 at night. Is this enough? Thanks!

It's enough, but it's not varied. You should feed Reptomin one day, something live another day, water plants another day, bugs or worms another day, etc.

I agree with Yvonne. Always.

You can feed greens by tossing them in the tank, and you can also have edible floating water plants. It may be late to get them this season, but in late spring they'll be abundant at pond stores. Pet stores that sell aquatic plants are an option, and they will happily give you the pond snails that are in with the plants.

You might want to put minnows in the tank. Chasing them will give your turtle something to do, and if they reproduce he can eat the eggs & babies. When he's bigger he can certainly eat the adults if he can't catch them yet. The fish can survive on reptomin.

Where I live it's past the season to find worms in the garden, but you might be luckier.

What type of water plants can I feed them? And can I feed them water spinach (kang kong)? I've heard spinach is poisonous for turtles though. And what about fruits? Do they like apples? As for bugs and worms, which kinds so I feed and how many per day?

Sorry for the questions but I have read a lot online and I'm still confused. I feel like over here is where all the experienced experts are at. Thanks!

Try feeding brine shrimp, if you can find them. Little sliders love them, plus it is variety, and should make them active.

I am quite worried feeding them live feeds too because of parasites. I don't know how clean are the fishes they have at the pet stores. I don't want to feed it to my turtles just to get them sick... I hope you understand, so how can I actually make sure it's safe? Thanks!
