new to tortoise

Hi, I haven't got my tortoise yet but I am hopefully getting a young horsfield I am trying to do lots of research so I get everything right. I live in the UK south west. I will be browsing the threads and hopefully get lots of help and advice.

Some helpful hints for you:

Don't use a spiral-shaped bulb. They can be harmful to tortoises' eyes.
Get the largest size habitat you can afford or fit in your house. Russian tortoises need a lot of space, and those manufactured tortoise houses are way too small - don't waste your money.
