It's a Shellfie!

Sorry for the poor title..the newspaper did it! A Sulcata in Florida swallowed a turtle shaped charm from a necklace. They found it during an X-ray to explain why it didn't seem itself. They are treating it with antibiotics and enemas. Damn!!

Oh man poor tortoise!!! I wonder if the owner lets the tortoise have free roaming time/space to roam the house and the tortoise got that?!

That was on my local news yesterday. I that it was a hoot that it swallowed a turtle pendant. What's the odds of that right.

That's what I thought. If that's what happened it again reinforces the need for ample, safe space for them to roam. I sometimes let Slash out to wander, but I always vacuum first as a precaution. And I never let him out of my sight.

Bit of a worry, I have a friend who has a female tort that seems to eat anything, snails slugs included but my two males seem to stick to the normal food.
