Hey, Moderators:

I just wanted to say that perhaps the biggest thing that makes this such a great forum (besides fabulous members!) is fabulous MODERATORS!!!!

THANK YOU TO ALL THE MODERATORS who spend so much time, energy and thought into keeping this a safe, user-friendly forum!!!
You somehow manage to allow members enough space to be themselves freely, yet send a clear message that violation of forum rules is not tolerated.
YOU ROCK!!!

However I'm severely disappointed that I just jumped on this afternoon to catch up on the demon's from hell thread only to find that it has vanished! Best Thread. Ever.

Unfortunately that thread had gotten severely off topic and hostile. We try(our best)to not allow that on the forum.

I didn't see the thread, "demon's from hell" but I am glad to have the moderators who do such a good job.

Aw heck. Too bad you missed it. The guy said he was 28 years old, however, his posting was more of a 12 year old. Plus, no one else was allowed to voice their opinion without he came back and argued and called names.

Plus he targeted specific members with slanderous accusations. Totally unacceptable.

Oh yeah, I absolutely realize that. I clicked on that thread early this morning and almost fell out of my chair by the time I got to page 5! What was amazing to me was how tolerant and respectful this forum family continued to be throughout it. Particularly Tom. I just found it highly entertaining, in a comedic way!

I think over all we work together to keep the TFO a great place !

I was disappointed it's going to. I have to admit it was entertaining. But it was not hostile like I have seen some other threads be here, basically one person was very hostile everybody else was just tweaking his chain. for the most part things don't get truly hostile. but when people feel passionately about something it does bring out emotions and sometimes they spill over. I think it would sometimes be hard as a moderator, when do you just give people some rein to run and when do you pull them up?

I have to admit, I had too much fun entertaining myself, if no one else, with my response. Monday I'll be talking to my doctor about having my stomach nerve disconnected so I no longer feel like I'm drowning while in water. Lol. Sorry, I had to. I'm just glad I wasn't the one banned.
