I posted in adoptions the other day and went to edit it and it is now locked... I also tried to reply with a picture because it didn't work when I tried to add it the first time and it says I don't have permission.

I remember reading some guidelines somewhere when I first opened my account about being able to post in the classified/adoptions section but haven't been able to find the thread again?

Just wondering why my post is locked and hoping I'm not banned or something!

if I remember right...on the adoption posts...it is desired that nothing be posted as "gab" back and forth but rather if someone is interested they are encouraged to private message or start conversation with the initiating party of the thread....if I am incorrect I apologize, but for some reason that info is what I recall.....wait a bit and see what a mod has to say...

I'm just going from memory here...I didn't go back and take another look at your post, but here's the reason I think you can't get back into it:

Quite a few folks confuse "adoption" with selling. If you are asking a price - no matter what you call it (re-homing fee, adoption fee), you are selling the animal. Animals that are being sold are put into the "for sale" thread. The For Sale threads are locked so we eliminate any back and forth chatter - "Oh what a cute little animal" "I wish I lived closer" etc. This keeps the ad clean and everyone is better able to see what's for sale rather than have to wade through all the comments.

If you want to add to or change your ad all you have to do is contact a moderator and they will open the thread so you can add to it.
