Okay, du ring the summer, i should be bringing my tortoise to New York, I'm currently in Paris we will be going by plane. How should I bring my tort, if I can, if so how ???? Do I need special papers???? Thanks

Traveling animals internationally is very difficult and requires lots of money, time and paperwork. It is not likely that the U.S. will allow an individual to bring a pet tortoise here.

I would come up with a plan to leave your tortoise home.

If it is just a vacation, it wouldn't be worth your while or the tortoise's health to bring him. There are pretty strict quarantine rules that apply.

Perhaps you can leave your tortoise with a family member or classmate. Start searching for suitable petsitter and start training them, as soon as possible.
