Sorry, I don't know. I would guess smaller than a 50 cent piece. Check out some of Tom's posts he's raising Russians with the humid enclosure method and may have some picture.

At 8 weeks I'd expect them to be somewhere around 30-35 grams.

A big fast grower might be closer to 50 grams.

A small slow grower might only be 20-25 grams.

Tom, what's the average weight at hatching?

That I don't know. A breeder should answer this. I've got 20 from 4 groups from 3 different breeders that I picked up when they were 3-4 weeks old. I based my above answers on the weight of those 20 at that age and other ones that I've seen over the years.

My 6 RT babies ranged from 12g - 16g at hatching. At 6 weeks they were about 25-30g. At 10 weeks they weighed 35-43g. That should give you a ballpark. :) I didn't weigh them at 8 weeks, but the range Tom gives sounds right where mine are.

All of my russian hatchlings so far have been round about the 20g mark. The largest was 22 and the smallest 19.
