Hi all.
I haven't been here in a while and that is because things have been alright with a Darwin. He has been doing fine. I do however, have a question. I am thinking of planting some plants in Darwin's enclosure. I gave heard that he (a Greek) can eat most weeds and wild grasses. I was wondering if someone could clarify waft these were and give some examples. I have heard of alfalfa grass. What is that and where does it grow? Also, what types of flowers
can he eat?
Thanks a bunch

Hi, :D
Feel free to check these plant lists:

Dandelion is a great weed to give (Just don't confuse it with other weeds). Alfalfa grass is usually grown to be made as fodder, torts enjoy it. It has some extra protein which shouldn't be a big problem (Just don't over feed). Timothy is less in protein as I recall. Where do you live? Weeds are different from place to place & I'd like to search for common weeds in your area on the internet! Good luck :)
Ps: flowers that are fed to Greeks should be a minimum (don't give too much :p) Hibiscus is good, Rose of Sharon, Roses (not from the store), and any flowers you find in one of those links!

@AbdullaAli gave some pretty nice lists :D Greeks do enjoy wild greens over, say lettuce and stuff, because it is their natural diet, and it is a lot better for them. If you have any mallow or creeping charlie, that's good too.
