Hurricane Harvey coming to Texas!!!

Hey, you all watch out for Harvey, headed for the Texas Gulf Coast and beyond!
Dangerous hurricane, no mistake about that....batten down, get out, take care of your families and pets!

Just went through Typhoon Hato here in Hong Kong 2 days back, it was bad, but we were prepared.
The cat, the dog, the wife and the 2 rf torts are still hiding under the sofa...

I live 15 minutes from Kelly. We didn't really get much of anything other than a breezy day and periods of light rain, thankfully. It seems that the storm has moved on.

Thanks. Glad your all okay in that part of Texas. I wouldn't want to live in Texas but I wouldn't mind having Kelly as a close neighbor.

Ahhhh.....Houston, we have a problem???
Watching from Kingston, Jamaica and hoping everyone in Texas/Louisiana is OK!!! This one is a BADASS.

Areas of houston have already flooded and we've not even seen the heavy rain yet. We will get pounded by this through Wednesday as it parks itself on top of us.

I'm currently at the edge of the north band. It's going to be raining all weekend.

Yep only got 1/2" of rain. Nothing at all. Was right at the front door. Corpus however is getting slammed.

I worry about your outdoor, covered habitats in storms like these.

I'm about 4 hr drive North from Corpus Christy and even here we've had pretty violent gusts of wet wind and rain, buckets of it! Very unusual for our area. Temps also dropped by almost 20F. That is a nice change after whole summer in the 90's
