"Elder" & friends.

You've done well with him. He's a nice looking and well-shaped leo.

Elder on a "walkabout" in my side yard. There are some weeds there he doesn't have in enclosure. So I take him out to graze sometimes.

It's amazing the camouflage of nature

Haven't weighed Elder in a long time. He is a slow grower I think. Today he was 6.3 lbs.

But in every way he acts healthy.

So I don't worry about his size.

Been remis in updates on Elder. He gets his weigh in today, and some treats on the lanai. Even though he has a nice big heated hide ( used to share it but now all his ) he is noticeably less active in the winter.

I have an additional grazing area 50' X 50' and will put him out there today for variety. After his bath I'll get a phot & post his weight. He seems to grow very slowly. But I have Sulcata & an Aldabra so in comparison he stays small

Elder came out for Mazuri & a bit of greens. It was 50f this morning - 76f now.

He's simply adorable. GOD bless.

So. I’m watching Elder come out & eat yesterday. And see a small skunk come out of his box to steal some Mazuri

He was very pretty. It’s a young spotted skunk. Musta gone into the warm box to escape the cold night. Set out a trap & caught him this morning. Now I gotta take him out in the woods , and try to let him go without getting squirted. Wish me luck

Elder is looking great. Florida weather is working it's magic...good sun, humidity, warm days... Very nice!
