Your story sounds amazingly similar to mine, complete with a neighbor finding and releasing her. Mine was released in a 135 acre natural preserve miles from home.
Print a "Missing/Reward" sign with her picture on it. Bring it to the golf course maintenance workers' break room with a pizza, or a box of donuts. Make sure it's early, or lunch time, so most of the crew will be there. Post the picture right above the water cooler or microwave so it will get the most views. Those guys will have the most eyes on the course at all hours of the day, increasing your chances.
p.s. A maintenance worker found mine, and I got my Teejay back after 5 weeks. There's ALWAYS hope. Fingers crossed.
