8-10 month old sulcata needs a good home. Weighs 194g. Approx 3-1/2 in. Very healthy, loves mazuri tort food. Unfortunately bought two before doing my homework I've had him/her? Since October. Must show proof of enclosure and nessessary supplies. Unlike me, you must show you've done your homework before I can give kona up! Please respond to [email protected]

Hi Ethan, I notice from your email address that you are in Toronto? You can't purchase or adopt a tortoise from the United States. Canadian laws make it quite difficult to make purchases across the border. I recommend you look for people local to you selling on Kijiji.

Sexing hatchlings isn't simple, so you can't guarantee getting a male tortoise. The Downsview Reptile show (http://www.reptileexpo.ca) always has sulcata for sale. They also pop up on Kijiji in the area pretty regularly (http://www.kijiji.ca/v-reptiles-amp...le/1249432907?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

It's worth thinking about how you'll house a sulcata in Toronto. Make sure your parents are on-board with taking on a tortoise that will need a very large, heated space 6-8 months of the year.

Along with advice given. Do more research on the care needs and all it takes. It won't be cheap and if your a kid, your parents are going to have to pay the bills for food, heating, lighting, etc, etc.

Hi Lori
I have just read your post that you are looking for a home for your tortoise Kona. If you haven't found him a home yet I am very interested. I live by the salton sea and have desert tortoises but would love to have a sulata. I am a new member to this site so I don't know if you will get this message but you can email me at [email protected]

While I greatly appreciate the offer, I only accept offers of food. I never take money for tortoises, either coming or going.

You, my dear lady, are a true champion......
