Hi,

Will it be ok to get a hibiscus bush from our local nursery for my baby sulcata to eat from?

It will be fine in I'd say about 6 months or so. Local nursery's typically use many fertilizers and pesticides to help keep their plants looking beautiful for the buying public. Once these chemicals have cycled out of the plant it will be a great addition to your tortoises diet. They love them.

Get ready to get some grasses growing good. Sulcatas eat a bunch of that. Have you read up on this site the list of foods for sulcatas?

I have done lots of reading here, great place for the right info. Lol. All I could find when I looked yesterday was oat grass seeds. So they are planted and I'm waiting on sprouts now.
