I want to make sure that my redfoot is getting the foods he needs. I recently ordered TNT from Carolina seed, how should this be used? My tortoise will be a year old in May.

Right now he is eating a mix of turnip, collards, mustards, kale, endive, and escarole. I also add shredded zucchini, squash and Opuntia cactus a few times a week. I sprinkle his food twice a week with zoo med repti calcium with D3.

He only occasionally gets fruits and meat, should I increase the amount?

Is there anything I need to add?

During the summer I feed up to 50% fruit and 10% protein.
I also up the amount of Mazuri to 25% during the winter.
It depends on what's easily available to feed that I can grow or find.
Mix it up. Just don't feed anything all the time.
Redfoot can and do eat a very wide variety of foods.

With correct UVB or sunlight and diet, there will be little need to suplement with extra powdered products.

Thank you! What brand of dog food do you recommend and about how often should I be feeding it? Right now I sprinkle his greens with repti cal twice a week, is that too much?

Also off topic but the temps in his enclosure stay at 80 to 83 degrees on the warm side and between 76 to 80 on the cooler side, is that ok? It usually drops to the 76 on the cooler side at night when the lights are off but I have a ceramic heat emitter that keeps one side at a constant 80.
