I just wanted to say thanks to the people who helped and answered all of my questions! However, I think i finally won!
I finally bought Mazuri and it came in the mail yesterday morning. I hurried and opened it and mixed it with some lettuce and carrots (since my sis ate the grapes and other food buddy loves).
Buddy stared at it for a good 30 min then finally took a bite!! He didn't stuff his face but he ate!
I did the same today and little by little he is eating a little more!
I still soak him and mist his tank and i am not giving back protein until he eats at least half his plate of veggies and mazuri.
But thank you again everyone for helping and giving advice on my stubborn little brat!

(Ps any advice on keeping dirt moist? mine drys up waaaaay to fast and i mist like 2-3 times a day)

Replace the "dirt" with something more absorbent. Like mulch.

How do you wet the dirt?

You need to take the decor out, get a jug of water, tip some in and mix it thoroughly with your hands. Repeat until all the substrate is evenly damp.

You then mist daily to help slow down the rate at which it dries.

You'll probably have to get the jug out every 2-3 weeks ... maybe longer ... it depends on your home.

That is what i did the first time (like 4 days ago) then i misted with a spray bottle 2-3 times a day or when ever i saw the dirt dry. i think it might be his lamp drying out the dirt. i am planning on buying a uvb over head light this weekend so if i swap out the lamp it might help.
