I went to my very first Repticon today. I LOVED it!!! Of course, I couldn't afford any tortoises, but I enjoyed learning more about them and holding all the adorable babies! And the snakes and lizards are being held by my sister, who is much less squeamish than me! Here are a lot of pics of my time today!repticon 035.JPG repticon 040.JPG repticon 047.JPG repticon 048.JPG repticon 049.JPG repticon 058.JPG repticon 063.JPG repticon 097.JPG repticon 115.JPG repticon 110.JPG repticon 107.JPG repticon 088.JPG repticon 076.JPG repticon 033.JPG repticon 105.JPG

Aw, thanks! Only one person noticed my shirt at the repticon! I was hoping to see someone else with the same shirt! My sister was very close to getting a snake. If I lived closer to Fort Lauderdale I might go again, and maybe get her a Christmas present lol. I thought they would have a lot more tortoises than they did, I guess you're right about them having mostly snakes and lizards. :)

I love the mini T-Rex in the last picture! @Tidgy's Dad - does it make you jealous that we can buy dinosaurs here in the States?

I also love the Manouria in the first pictures!!!
I am jealous that you get so many dinosaur fossils in the states, though i specialize in other things.
But we do get dinosaurs here in Morocco, too.

Nice vertebra I got last year.
Pterosaur1.JPG And a pterosaur tooth. Not got any more photos uploaded now, but will post lots in the future.

Metal kit I made and painted, weighs well over a kilo and another one of the same, now unavailable kits, is going for $1,270 on e-bay !

Wow!!!! I saw some just like him!

I told my wife that now that Speedy has moved outside , it was a shame to let that 60 gal tank sit empty ! :D She said "oh you think your so slick" and I said "what a great name !" I got to buy him with the understanding that he lives out in my shop ! He gets to come inside the house for visits though ! ;)

@Tidgy's Dad - It was a joke, Adam. The picture shows a little 4" tall plastic T-Rex in a habitat. But I'm jealous of all your artifacts. I've always loved old bones, etc. I used to have a big rock that I found in Coalinga that was full of clam shells - and Coalinga is miles from the ocean.

(Nice job on the kit)
