Just set this up. Used it for a trio of leopards until they out grew it. Put cement mixing tubs in to make several smaller enclosures. The plastic front comes down. I was never thrilled with the humidity for leopards, but it stays close to 80 percent. Should work good for Russians.1469903462416-1363535554.jpg 1469903531871-110650188.jpg 1469903606408-1502992586.jpg
Only have 1 egg that I am sure is good. Trying to be optimistic. Have about a dozen eggs.

Nice, you always make great enclosures. I'm taking notes :) How big is each cement tub? And I hope you get those filled up soon also.

This is the old one. Males and babies upstairs. Females downstairs. Can't start that until my yougest leaves. Not excited for him to ship out, but excited to build a new room for the girls winter home.

Do Russian hatchlings have to be at 80° 24/7? With a warmer basking spot of course. And if so, for how long? The first year?

I keep the Min temp close to 80F. I let it get a bit cooler than the leopards, but do keep the humidity pretty high, so not much cooler. I don't use night heat, but keep them in the leopard room that is kept about 80F. I will maintain my only hatchling that I am keeping until he can go outside with the adults. Several years I think.

I have 6 females. Only 3 of them have been laying as far as I know. The other 3 I got last year, and just added to my group this spring. Hoping next year will have better fertility rates.
