What kind of tortoise have I got?

Hi all I have wanted a tortoise since I was 6 and about 2 months ago I inherited one from a very distance connection as nobody wanted "him". I just wanted to know what kind of tortoise he is- please see profile picture. So that I can provide him with the right care.
Please don't be alarmed by the fence it was an emergency measure he now has a wooden pen and wooden house that my dad built him. I would like to keep him outside in the summer as he has a big run and house but will he still need a uv lamp?

Any help I would be so grateful for!

I am rubbish at iding torts, but I'm pretty sure that's a Hermanns' or a Greek.
Either way, they need pretty much the same care.
Someone else will be along shortly to give a more positive identification, i'm sure.

and also I'm afraid the lovely tort is a bit pyramided, he has been kept too dry and needs to be kept in humid conditions to stop this getting any worse.

Thank you so much guys! So helpful. I will defo keep him more humid thank you so much for the advice. Just want to look after him really well as not sure he has been that loved- which is such a shame! More pics please let me know what you think he is and can you age a tortoise my son keeps asking me.

Welcome I think it is a Greek but I am not sure

That is a Hermann's tortoise absolutely no question about it and it's a cross between the western and eastern subspecies. So basically it's a mixed or hybridized animal (even though hybrid is not the best term to describe the cross breeding of two subspecies).
