Hey all,

In Mira Mesa Mulberry was free and plentiful and I used a great deal of it. Now in Carlsbad, I have access to lots of free and virtually spineless cactus pads.

Does anyone with non-sprayed mulberry want to work something out for cactus pads? I'm happy to do all the 'running around' and pad washing and making them 100% spineless. Some of the tortoises could really find happyness with mulberry again.

Hey Will, I could help you to get some mulberry leaves. I don't need any cactus, thank you. If you want to PM me with your phone number I will give you a call to make arrangements. It's possible to get you a bag of leaves later today or tomorrow.

I'm doing great! The homestead is good. Getting kinda nervous about the Santa Ana's coming up!
How about you?

I can send you (or anyone) small trees if you have a place to plant or grow in pots. I can't say mine are true fruitless but I never see a fruity mess on the ground, I do get volunteer trees though, the seeds have to come from somewhere. Thanks for the offer but I don't need any pads, I have more opuntia than I can feed off. These are east coast grown, Northern Neck ,Virginia.:)

If you run through everybody else's supplies, once they come out (as of today only a few leaf buds are thinking about starting to open), I could trade mulberries for cactus.
