Great pictures Yvonne! My box turtles are buried under loads of snow here in NY. This is the coldest weather we've had in a long, long time. I hope they all make it....very nervous here.
That would be so scary. I haven't been brave enough to try to hibernate my box turtle or Russian. And the weather here is nothing like it is back there. You may not see your turtles till June

Thanks for sharing pictures, love seeing all the torts..
The female is longer than my size 8 ladies shoe. I think that's not quite 12" long. But I haven't taken any specs recently.
