I attended IHS for the first time last year and it was a fantastic experience. No matter what facet of herpetology you're interested in, everyone who's anyone attends this conference. I thought it was really cool that they're doing this contest for kids and young adults to attend for free so I'm posting it here.
I will be at IHS 2015 in San Antonio and I hope someone from TFO enters this contest and wins!

I thought about entering the contest, but then they want the winners of each category to give a speech, and I'd probably pass out, so there's that….. Still a very cool contest.

I have a friend of the family whom I'm encouraging to do this. He's a great kid and would surely benefit from the experience, whether he wins or not.

Good luck to our young compadres that give this a try.

Just do it, Pete! If you can't do this, how are you going to run theTurtleRoom one day when we're too old?
