We've come to a sort of agreement, pushing him didn't work so I started just sitting with him wedged between my knees when he was being all crazy, and I'd shove food into his face so he got distracted with eating and would stop being crazy after awhile. We also started having movie nights, he really loves sleeping on one of my fleecy blankets, lots of tortoise bonding and "Bro" moments.

I soak him almost everyday, but the mega shine is actually from a nail care oil. It's made with horse hair and a bunch of other natural things, I have it because I use it when I take off my gel nails. One day last week I was like "hey...." and tried it on a little piece of his shell. It makes him stay that shiny, without being sticky. It worked amazingly on his growth lines. I've always been nervous about vita shell because it's a shellack, but this just soaks in.
