mine are Cork and Doolin. not super strange but they are named after irish towns.

I've been told that Ptolemy, Jennifer, Ophelia and Apollonia are strange names for pet tortoises, but, to me, it's a judgement call, 'cause I think all names are equally valid.

Bob, the Wonder Tortoise, is a name that always makes me smile. Cool

Mine's name is Niko. Short for Nikodemes. Since he is a greek tortoise I had to give him a greek name!

I'm thinking of naming mine Rufus after my grandfather's python.

Well, I think he really had a python. I never saw it. When I was a kid he said Rufus got loose in the house, and we need to stay out of the basement.

I started off calling my new Russian baby HS, after Han Solo. But I figured, that doesn't make sense for a Russian. So I now call him Viggo. After Viggo Mortensen.

I love Viggo Mortensen.

I named my Leopard hatchling Rorschach, after the psychological ink test. After I got him, I sat there trying to "discover" what his shell markings looked like.
