Pumpkin help
Hi just bought a pumpkin for bread bin waitin ages for shop to get sum in what part do I feed bread thanks for help

Bread is your tortoise right? I feed mine a little bit of the inside and some of the outside and made a purée in the blender
Sulcata tortoises are the best!!Big Grin

If you blend it all together, even the seeds, then the skin and seeds act as a natural dewormer.

I use a cheese grater and just run chunks through it for a tortoise the size of yours. I don't use the stem or the callused part on the bottom though. I also mix the grated pumpkin with some greens, instead of feeding it all by itself. I find grated pumpkin is a good way to get your calcium and vitamin supplements into them too.

I don't bother with the seeds for small tortoises and my big tortoises just eat them whole.
