tortadise Wrote:Got all these nice tropics for $88. What a deal. Cant wait to put them in the new greenhouse. So far plus these I have 3 ficus trees, 3 more majesty palms, a money tree, some sago palms, and a vietnamese thorny palm. Gonna be a jungle in their. I love the Basjoo banana tree. It does not fruit but is the hardiest banana tree I know. It can grow throughout the winter here in Tennessee. The secret is to heavily mulch them after planting. I planted one in the end of July, in the dead of heat. It not only thrived beautifully, but also has five 2' pups. And most everything likes a yummy banana leaf.
