Do girl torts swing their tail to the side too?
Mine are too young to sex but just wondered as when they're walking around 80% of the time the tail is tucked up! Also its pretty funny as they swing tails from left to right hehe they look happy when they do that

Yes, despite popular myth, it's common for females of many species to do so. It is somewhat dependent upon species and the typical adult development (length & girth) of their tail.

They all swing their tails side to side when they go potty!

I love when mine "wags" her tail as she walks!

Yes both of my red's swing their tails. One male about 8" and one female about 7". The males name is wags for this reason.
