Hi everyone, I don't have Tortoises now but I am thinking about getting them again. I have only had a Desert Tortoise before that my dad rescued and that was when I was younger and I only had it a short time. I was thinking about getting a few Russian Tortoises since they stay small.

Hi! I'm from Cali too. I've never owned a tortoise or any reptile. Have two dogs right now but I won't let them near my future tortoise!

Hello and welcome. Russians are a great choice and we have a pretty good climate here for them too. Its pretty easy to build a nice big outdoor enclosure for them here and maintain it year round.
