I am so, so sorrySad. That is nice that he went in your loving arms. I have lost many of my canine members. They are the hardest to lose. They give us so much and ask for so little. Again, so sorrySad

Sad Sad Sad Sorry *hugs* Atleast he went in the way I think is best, held in the arms of the ones who loved him. He looks older then his age in the pictures. Did you know his time was short?

I think she meant 96 was his birth year because he was 16 when he passed

RE: Surge 8/24/06 - 8/14/12
I have been expecting it for about a year now, but he kept eating and walking and pooping on a regular basis. The last 2 weeks he has been getting weaker but showing no signs of discomfort aside from a hacking he has had for awhile now. This morning I found him by his food dish and the back door laying on the floor waiting for me... :'( I held him for about 10 min when he stiffened and left my side forever.

Today is the priced paid for 16 years of smiles, laughter and very good times. No longer will ne meet me at tha door with a wagging tail and excited licking. Now he will walk in the shadows of my memories curled up next to my Soul for He is part of Me.

When you weigh all the good times, today was a very cheap price to pay for the rest of the time. Also he will still be greeting you at the door, you will just no longer see him doing so except in your own mind. Your last sentence especially was very touching, you made me cry.

I'm so so sorry. We lost our little RT a few years ago and she looked exactly like yours. I'm sitting here crying now and wish I was with you to give you a big hug.
