Hello people, I have 2 Herman's that I want to put outside and have free roam of the garden once I put new fences up. There will be no way out but I'm Wondering about what others think, I think the main ones would be foxes. Cats round here seem to be scared of the torts and not sure about birds...

Sure. The one of the stars in the Viv is when I first bought them and holding was a few months ago, they was probly under mvb for 2years so not sure if that's classed as long time.

Im in UK and keep stars, reedfoot and Herman's. I had 80w Arcadia mvbs for stars and my redfoot when they was in smaller vivs. My sister works at pets at home so I got them and Arcadia stuff cheaper. They worked fine and I haven't seen any bad effects a few years on. Now I have them in bigger...

I have platic Viv that I have sealed around the edges for redfoot and it's doing well, I just hose the Coco soil and mix it all up and keeps humidity perfect. I have a melamine Viv for stars that I covered with a thick plastic like the stuff you used to put on books but alot thicker and sealed...

I have white python ceramic with the gaurd that goes with it, its 60 or 100w can't remember, and I have the same size viv. I put mine in middle of the viv. Get a thermostat for it and set it at the right temperature and it will keep it at what you have set it all the time.

That's ok, it was from pro vivs in UK, type it into Google and should come up, there a small company so can take a few weeks to get delivered but enclosure has been good so far. 6x2x2 was the biggest plastic one they did when I got mine but you might be able to get them to make one bigger. Sent...
