I've had a desert tortoise for 9 years, and he's always used his burrow. In the past two days he does not want to use it, even when the overnight low temp is 48 degrees. This morning I found him cold as ice from being out all night, so for tonight I have him in a box in the basement. Any ideas why the sudden change in behavior ?
