I have a 3 year old RT that is currently inside an old fish tank I think it is too small looking at buying some large tubs and connecting them for him to have more space. Does anyone have any recommendations on what tub and what size would work best for him

There is a section called " Tortoise Enclosures " where extensive examples & ideas are listed in the ' Stickys ' as well as ongoing threads.

Hi, and welcome!

Just buy the biggest tubs you can find. You want big floor space, not tall sides. So when you read "64 gallons" that really doesn't mean anything to you, because the gallons are "volume" and you don't care about volume, you want floor space. So eyeball the tubs and buy two of the tubs with the biggest floor space. Take pictures of your project. I've told people in the past about putting two tubs together, and having pictures to show would be pretty good.

If your ok with construction, build him a 8x4 tort table. Plenty of them here, a quick search online will show many examples.
