My 6 year old, female, Russian tortoise has recently started climbing on top of my other female tortoise and also a rock in the enclosure.

She sort of humps my other tortoise and the rock and this is making me think she is really a he?

Does anyone kno why this is happening

Post pictures of the plastron and underside of the tail and someone should be able to tell you the sex at this age.
But if it is a female, it could just be territorial bullying.
Tortoises should not really be kept in pairs.
As for the rock, who knows? Tortoises are not always terribly bright.

Sometimes when a female tortoise wants her ova fertilized, or if she has eggs to deposit in a nest, she exhibits the behaviour you're describing.
