Lack of foresight?

I bought a Larson full view front storm door to replace my Larson full view front storm door that was 17 years old, at least.
I actually bought this during Covid but it arrived without the hardware kit including the lockset but I knew I could flip my old one over. Lowes let me keep the door for free.

So I put it though my limited rehab facilities remaining here....(citrus and Neverdull)

I THEN learned......it won't fit...........they changed the CTC by 1.25"

My old lockset is junk...anyone need one, for free?

The new one was 86 bucks!


I should probably slow down.....LOL.

Does your storm door match the main door, ie hinge on same side or are they opposite?

I'm pretty sure you would (positive )! I too would try and I'm lucky to have a neighbor who helps me with my ideas. And they work out great.

Yes, same side.

I could rig it but I am selling this home so it needs to be right, especially the front entrance.
