Hello All,
This year’s Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA) meeting will have a special session just dedicated to Kinixys. We have some great speakers lined up and space is still available for additional speakers. If you would like to present on captive husbandry/breeding of a Kinixys (indoor or outdoor) we would benefit from your experiences. We are especially interested in people who have kept (and bred) hard to keep species. http://www.turtlesurvival.org/get-involved/conference/call-for-papers/upload-your-abstract. The deadline for abstracts is June 3, 2013 so make sure you submit yours now!
If you are not interested in presenting but would like to learn more about Kinixys I encourage you to attend the meeting as well. http://www.turtlesurvival.org/get-involved/conference. We will also have our first informal gathering of the Kinixys Conservation Task Force, a collaborative group which includes the TSA that are dedicated to the protection and stewardship of Hingeback Tortoises globally. We will discuss ways we can learn about and best protect these wonderful tortoises locally and abroad. Please forward and share this info with others who may be interested.
All the best!
