Hello and great day to all. My king was rescued from a dogs mouth about 6 months ago. That's how iI received him. We thought this would hee. Does he need to go to a vet to have sealed or is he okey? Thanks all. wonderfull place.
That doesn't really look like it was form the incident, correct? Also, tortoises are very slow to heal. Slow to get get sick, slow to... everything My painted turtle I rescued from a mild lawnmower incident (his two back scutes get kind of mauled, but his tail, body parts.. ect, were fine) Is STILL healing, ( almost done YAY) and it will never 'grow back together'
Its not bad at all . But doesn't look like a cracked shell . Looks dry and the scutes look like they are pilling . Could be wrong on that . Here is a picture of Harry . He was a rescue Kelly took in and gave to me . He came to Kelly with a cracked shell have no idea what happened to him . But he has been at my place for a little over a year and doing fine.
