I had a Herman tortoise with many pinworms. I was given liquid medicine, and I put it on his food. He had his treatments. Then I brought a fecal sample back and he was fine. I'm not an expert however that doesn't seem correct for moderate pinworms. @zovick @Yvonne G can help

I started to reply, the growth lines were different. Thank you for answering me. Still a very nice looking tortoise. Also, when I got Ink I don't know if mazuri was available (dial up connection times), I used chicken feed for hens laying eggs. Another vet told me that and works great.

I can't remember nor know what Ink weighed at that age. They all grow at different rates. @Tom might be able to help you.

I give mazuri maybe 2 times a month and only a few, and he is almost 18yrs old. I personally would do more greens and Google Kapidolo Farms for organic options. They are awesome and very helpful. @Kapidolo Farms

I'm so happy Tucker is doing well. I'm glad your vet is knowledgeable with tortoise care, some aren't.

I would try to clean the substrate up and clean the eyes today. I'm not an expert but that is my opinion. @Yvonne G @wellington or @ZEROPILOT can help you more.

Can you gently rinse it off? Don't rub the eyes. The substrate is bark and the coco coir and is natural. If you mix it, dampen, and pack it down.

That's probably what is irritating his eyes. I would change that asap. Use repti bark and coco coir. The care sheet would be more specific.

What substrate are you using?
