Yeah when I offer him some, its usually hammered down in to more fine particles, sprayed with water and brushed/sprinkled on his greens/weeds! I noticed that its a smart tortoise and kind of picks off the Mazuri though 😅
Thanks! I do have mazuri but i've been trying to limit his consumption of it because he goes CRAZY for it! I'll start giving it to him more frequently!

He arrived at 28 g and now he’s 72 g I always feel like he’s growing slower than post. I’ve seen online of similar species, but it could just be my paranoia.
Mochi, my 8 month old Indian Star tortoise has always eaten a bunch and pooped alot. Recently, hes avoiding the greens I provide (dandelion, wheatgrass, endives, etc.) He normally would eat them. He even avoids lettuce and cucumber (and he loved those!).

Yeah, NYC tracks everything!
But, they do spray for mosquitos in some years via some airfcraft and we are just advised to close all windows etc. Will just soak the leaves/rinse regardless.

Looking for some feedback on the growth in terms of grams for my baby star tortoise. I got him at 28 grams when we have approximately 2 months old. I've had him for 7 weeks and he's 34 grams after a big poop.
Could anyone advise if this growth is standard? I'm worried it sounds like he's not...
